This Is Me

Hi, I'm Emily.  I'm a mother, a Mormon, a freelance business consultant, a feminist, a community volunteer, an organist and youth leader at church, a lover of interfaith dialogue, a thinker, a reader, a writer.

I was born to two physicists, and grew up as a Navy brat moving all over the U.S. - from Florida to Hawaii, and California to Virginia.

I jumped out of an airplane at 10,000 feet, worked in health care administration for almost a decade, lived in and traveled around Europe, and interned at an electron beam accelerator facility - not necessarily in that order.

And I live near Spokane, Washington, with my wonderful husband, Gene, our three sons, a dog, a cat, four ten nine eight chickens, and two library cards.
